Rebecca McManis comes to us from the Ballet Ensemble of Texas, under the direction of Lisa
Slagle. Becca received the 2008 Darryl Sneed Scholarship and the 2009 Jerry Bywaters Cochran Scholarship, from the Dance Council,
which has enabled her to continue her second summer of training at both the Dallas Black Dance Theatre and the San Francisco
Conservatory of Dance. Her first choreography, "Let Go", for the Ballet Ensemble of Texas, was selected to be performed
at the RDA/SW Festival in Houston in 2009.
