Erin Labhart began her classical ballet training with Karen and
Fernando Schaffenburg here in Ft Worth, Texas. Erin has attended summer workshops with The Orlando Ballet and San Francisco
Ballet as well as private intensives with Paul Mejia. Erin has performed with Ballet Arlington (now Metropolitan Classical
Ballet), the University of Oklahoma’s Oklahoma Festival Ballet and Ballet Concerto. While attending the University
of Oklahoma, she earned a baccalaureate degree in psychology as well as a baccalaureate degree in nursing. She is a Registered
Nurse in the state of Texas and has practiced in general and transplant intensive care units. Erin lives in Fort Worth,
with her husband Noah and teaches advanced pointe at the Gayle Corkery School of Ballet. She performs concurrently with
Ballet Concerto and is looking forward to her first season with Texas Dance Theatre.
