Jon Shields, Creative Director of Texas Dance Theatre, is an Eagle Scout, a Graduate of Booker T Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, a former member of the Bruce Wood Dance Company as well as Contemporary Ballet Dallas, and an Airborne Paratrooper in the Army Reserves. In addition to his creative and choreological endeavors, Jon studies International Business Relations full time at Colorado Tech, is working on his pilot's license and runs his own business. After a long hiatus Jon is excited to reemerge dancing and creating again with TDT.
