Texas
Dance Theatre is a classically-trained ballet company with a contemporary flair. The company performs to music, ranging from
Vivaldi to fusion jazz. TDT believes in collaboration with other art forms and other choreographers in order to present material
that is relevant to everyone, both young and the young-at-heart.
The 2009-2010 season opened on September 25 with a new work by celebrated Fort Worth choreographer Bruce Wood. This season is in the Scott
Theatre with a schedule of four (4) public performances distributed throughout the entire
season, and these performances will also be available on a subscription basis as well as single tickets…all very affordable. School performances are regularly scheduled, too.
TDT
Mission:
To provide professional quality dance (both contemporary and classical) for the north Texas region and beyond,
while maintaining a key community commitment to provide educational experiences for the young and the young-at-heart.
